Youth In A Cocktail

I started drinking this little wonder a couple of years ago. It first was with gelatin and coconut oil and it emerged into something more with matcha and maca. I'll be honest, it's not the best tasting drink. It's nice with a little honey, but look at this drink more of a It's So Good For You kinda drink.

Benefits of ingesting gelatin.....collagen....

Maca can up your game, not only increasing your stamina and energy, but also your libido. Do you suffer from migraines? Taking Maca in the morning can ward them off. It's also excellent for memory. It's an immune booster and a stress reliever. Jeez, I could go on and on and on.....

Benefits of ingesting matcha...
Matcha is an amazing little powder chock full of antioxidants. It's so powerful, it has been shown to halt the progression of some cancer cells. It can protect against heart disease, lower your blood pressure, and help regulate blood sugar. 

What I do:
Mixed all together this is a drink I love to drink in the morning. I alternate every other day between kombucha and this collagen, coconut oil, matcha, maca cocktail. 1 gelatin packet
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1/2 tsp matcha
1/2 tsp maca (optional)
1 tsp honey (optional)

Other Ways To Add Collagen To Your Routine

How To Make It:

  1. It all starts the night before. Take a gelatin packet and mix in a couple of ounces of cool water in a large cup or mug, cover with a paper towel and let sit until morning.
  2. In the morning when your ready to drink it, add about 12 oz hot water to dissolve the gelatin.
  3. Mix in matcha.
  4. Mix in maca (optional)
  5. Stir in coconut oil.
  6. Optional.... Sweeten it up with some honey.
  7. Drink up. If you let it sit the oil will separate in the drink.
