The World's Best Chip Dip
I've been making this recipe for years now. It's our go to chip dip. I have to give credit to my once, mother in law, Tessa. She showed my once husband how to make it and he showed me. And then I put my own spin on it.
My son has me make it at least a couple times a month. It's the perfect dip for football parties, movie watching or that lazy Sunday afternoon. And it's super simple.
All you need:
- one can Hot Rotel
- one can Mexican Rotel
- two 8oz packages of cream cheese
1. Take the cream cheese and put them into a good microwavable bowl. Stick them into the microwave for 70 seconds. Then take a fork and mix it until smooth and creamy.2. Add your cans of Rotel. This mixture calls for Hot, but you can use Original or Mild if you prefer. You can drain off some of the liquid before adding to the cream cheese if you want. Adjust the amount to your liking. As the cream cheese cools to room temp it will thicken some.
3. Stir until mixed well.
