Make a Perfect Baked Potato

A baked potato can be such a fabulous addition to a nice dinner. They are so simple to make and a time saver too. Just pop them in the oven and wait...you can even go off and become a Pinterest addict during that time.

1.Turn on oven to 350 degrees.
2. Gather your potatoes, I like using super large Russet potatoes.
3. Wash and scrub the dirt off your potatoes.
4.Take a fork and stab the potatoes several times (6 times will do.)
5. Rub olive oil or vegetable oil the potatoes.
6. Next rub in a few pinches of salt.
7. Stick them in the oven to bake. Depending on the size a potato, they can be done in 50 to 100 minutes. It also matters how many items you have in the oven. The more, the longer it takes. A done potato will be squishy soft on the outside. A super large will take about 100 minutes in the oven.

And there you have it. Cut it open and top with butter, cheese, sour cream, chives, bacon bits...whatever you love.
